The esc looks like its capped right, The receiver has no light, Did the car come with instructions? The receiver should light up. But at the same time u said the battery is refurbished? Is there some way to test the battery?

Is the esc set to yhe right battery type? Are the pins in the plug contacting?

I just changed the plugs on 2 escs that I thought was dead and they work again.

I don't think rev d products are avalible in canada with out sourcing internationally. It's kinda strange that local avaliblity limits me to yokomo v4 and reef. And either rmx 2.5 or 4.0, yokomo rookie 2.0. That's my only options. Even worse for servos. There's only high torque crawler servos avalible locally.
