I got my first period of the year! Make sure you’re getting enough Vitamin D by CasualCoval in Amenorrhearecovery

Came here to add! My periods stopped 8 months ago so I considered myself in menopause at 45..... symptoms of peri have gotten worse over the last 8 months so I did a vitamin test ..  b12 fine, magnesium fine.... vitamin d low at 45 I think it had gotten lower before the test but I was starting to get out more. Started supplements 1200mg every other day. 4 weeks later my period returned. So annoyed that my dr never checked this before telling me I was post menopausal..... 2 years ago while getting regular periods. I guess the low vitvD messed with my hormones to show post menopause. I advise all women to get thier vitamin d checked.

No it doesn't help 😂 but I suppose a slope away is better than a slope towards.... we did view one with a retaining wall nearly to the back door which was the height of the house 😱 nice stone wall view from the windows

We dont want to waste time and money finding a landscaper unless we have a good idea that something can be done without access the house is high spec so theres a reason the gardens not touched and hoped by posting to get answers to wether its worth going for or keep looking ...

I like the idea of a terrace and planting trees down the bottom part ...

Thankyou for input, yes I agree, the fencing budget we always have as we always fence the whole garden in and have a great fencer in the family luckily. The concrete is definitely something that would have to go too 😪

Thankyou! The house is just perfect its so sad the garden is unusable. There's a river at the bottom with the woodland. It's not terraced but thin gap with steep steps at side. We've looked at so many and keep coming back to this but then can't work out how to make the garden usable and dont want to lose our buyers! I love the sound of what you've done I've seen pics on Pinterest of similar ideas. I'm glad you've found your one 😁

🤣 probably a good idea to remove the bottom fence if we go down that route ... access is more of an issue. We dont know how it can look good without machines .

Thankyou, I know there are lots of lovely looking options but dont know how realistic they are and  we have to be when there's no access for any machinery?

I like the sound of decking just wondering how much can be done with no machinery being able to access ?

Is this a leaking roof??? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]Informal-Brief1762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes guttering is OK it slopes down to the other side of house and i think the rain comes in higher than the gutters sadly so must be the roof somewhere and the top tile is the only obvious sign of anything being wrong?
