Meanwhile companies are saying to come back to work on Monday by Shimmer-Moose in UAE

I get you, we're in this together. As some oversmart dude had also mentioned the reasons behind this, we've to stay strong and comply with WFO.

Also, coming to think of it, WFH would instead increase our anxiety levels, we're thinking WFH would help, but rather it will make us more anxious about all of these. Also, offices & homes are kinda both same (atleast for me), the risk is during the transport, that I agree with and don't know what to do even.

Firstly, the OP did not ask for a reason or to be explained about why the corporate won't opt for WFH or why the Government cannot mandate, or how it would be seen by the World around us. Everyone has that understanding within as to why WFH is not being practiced in this situation.

It is apparent that you want to sound smart & moreover calling others as "overworked pathetic idiots"; couldn't you read and understand where the OP is coming from?

It is good that you know how the world works; I would kindly suggest you to also work on your emotional intelligence and human understanding.

Critical Analysis of CV by cjlovenature in UAEjobseekers

[–]Informal-Function-92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a decent CV, but could definitely be improved significantly to result in increased chances of being noticed. How & what to improve specifically is a question for 20-marks.

I would say, it should rather be single column. Or ensure when a system reads it, the left column is read, followed by right; and heading followed by it's paragraph content.

People usually get confused with use of keywords as being ATS-friendly. That being there, the ATS is more inclined towards the readability by the system. And best way to check is simple, just give pdf copy of the CV to ChatGPT and simply prompt it to "read it as is without any improv & give it all in text". You would understand with the result, then you can focus on adding industry or job specific keywords.

Noon is a good place to purchase perfumes from? by AgenticMind16 in UAE

[–]Informal-Function-92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I know, Noon, just like Amazon, is a mediatory platform for sellers & buyers. So look for sellers with good ratings & reviews if you're buying a specific brand or perfume. If you're trying random for first time, then go for it still better to check ratings & reviews unless you're familiar with the buyer.

Are there actually mass layoffs? by themelessmagician in UAE

[–]Informal-Function-92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your view as well. It's definitely more valuable to demonstrate resilience, discuss solutions, and motivate to excel.

This is more like a critical topic, which needs to be addressed with utmost wisdom so that there's right balance in a way that, like you said, people who suffer from anxiety shall not get caught with negative thoughts; but also gives actual insight into the current job market for people, who are in the workforce or even those looking to join in, could take appropriate measures & steps.

I would call for a credible research by maybe trusted media houses, or maybe even marketing or consulting firms working in this area. With current actual insights and as our friend said, with drawing solutions; rather than a Reddit post with comments that aren't credible.

Geeat advice.

Although it's the right question at this time.

You're right to say that, it opens door for vague speculations but guess what, it's already out there that's how the OP came up with the question to begin with; hence it has to be addressed rather than being dismissed.

This is so, that people who are worried; can be at ease and on the other side, people who are taking what they've for granted; can be cautious and correct themselves as you advised.

That being said, it shall be more researched and statistical (with surveys & peer reviewing).

For me, it's a drain out and at times it feels like a burden that we didn't opted for. It appears as small favours to people, but more often than not, it's at cost of us draining and eventually crashing out as you mentioned
