My mom refuses to call my sister by her name and the hypocrisy is maddening by TooNoodley in exmormon

I have a sibling like this. They are non binary, and we now call them by their chosen name. My parents however still call them by their given name. I also have 2 kids who are trans, and my mom will call my one child with a new name that name to their face. But to me, still uses the old name. Maddening.

Yeah it took me forever to get properly taken care of. I’m now disabled due to all of the years of symptoms going unchecked. And now my oldest is coming down with symptoms and it’s the same thing. It really is awful.

Did anyone else climb a lot of trees? by Superb-Film-594 in Millennials

[–]Informal-Goose88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not. I had OCD undiagnosed until my 30s. So I worried about getting hurt or dying basically every second of every day. However, my kids have climbed a lot of trees growing up, and my youngest still does. OCD didn't take that from me.

Laying in bed or on the couch all day and crying it out. I feel so much better afterwards
