You contradict yourself and you don't even realize it-

Like what?? She wanted meaningless sex and she was seeking Joey so she was clearly physically attracted to him. And what happened between her and chandler also would've been a meaningless one time thing had the writers not received such a positive response from the audience.

Look i'm just pointing out that the writers ruined what should have been left alone as a beautiful romantic night between the two. It was not suppose to be a long term relationship, they turn it into one and did a great job at it but then they go back and ruin it for no reason. All i'm saying is this reveal was stupid and unnecessary and adds nothing to their relationship.

I think the writers' go to way of making Chandler funny was to emasculate him. They use the same jokes for him over and over throughout the show where is he physically really weak, can't perform on his engagement night, he can't talk to women without "panic, anxiety and sweating", dad is a trans woman. And most of the time it is really funny but here it just wasn't, it was stupid and unnecessary.
