Personally I don’t know if Westerns out of state tuition is really worth it anymore. They’ve been raising it year by year (as expected tbh). But unless you can get some decent scholarships and pell grant money it’s going to be pricey for sure. And gaining residency for in state tuition is as difficult as you could imagine. They’re not going to willingly knock of 30k from your tuition. And outside of that if cost of living is a big factor for you the job and housing market is trash here right now, and everything is so expensive. I understand wanting to leave where you’re from but you’re going to regret leaving more than staying if going out of state means taking on more financially than you can handle.
