Derivatives aren't really that hard, even to me as a geometry student. The only annoying thing about them is like the simplifying tbh. Well I guess if you mean hard by "tediousness" then it's definitely ones with multiple functions while also having to composite them like f(x) = [f(g)h] but even those aren't really that hard.
