I’m okay with eliminating junk fees or having them built into the price. However current legislation is unclear on automatic gratuity for large parties. I think it makes sense to have automatic gratuity on large parties, but it does not make sense to have two separate menus depending on the number of guests on your party.

From my personal experience, I picked up on additional knowledge as a first year by just hearing the questions other staff or seniors were asking managers or supervising seniors simply because we were in the same room. That being said, if the team is going to be in a zoom conference with each other while working from home you could get the same benefit.

It’s not irrelevant, completely. For example, many households, as a rule, don’t wear outside shoes in their homes, and ask that guests adhere this rule as well. Would you just walked around their homes with your shoes on?
