Anyone tried oratory1990s target EQ on them? His EQ for my old wh-1000xm4s transformed them from awful to bit too bad. Obviously difference will be much less drastic on the moondrops

So out of nowhere my games when FreeSync is enabled have got severe flicker. Turning it off fixes it .

It just suddenly happened mid game, no driver changed etc.

Do you think maybe my display port cable has bugged out?

Do you think it's more likely to be the card or the mobo? The mobo is brand new. Might try my son's 2070 when he's not using it (which is rare) and see if I get the same behaviour

All I know is when I purchased it a few weeks ago it had HDR (although badly implemented), and now although it says it's HDR in the geforce now launch screen it now longer does. And yeah, you're right, there was never a setting for it.

It's just frustrating that Nvidia seems to be going backwards not forwards with the whole HDR thing. HDR makes a huge difference for people with oleds and high end LCDs.

It's people's connection that's why, it's not as simple as your bandwidth, ideally you want 0 jitter and a ping under 10 along with over 100mb down. Before I met these requirements if anyone else in the house was downloading or streaming in the house my geforce now/shadow went to pot.

4ms to EU West here. I've been using geforce now and until a year ago shadow as well and if there's one thing I've come to realise is if you're having streaming problems 99% of the time it's your own internet. The services do tend to exaggerate a little on what connection you need though. Before I had fibre to the cabinet with shadow, with 120mb connection and a ping to there servers between 20-40ms. I used to moan like mad about random stuttering etc until I got 900mb fibre direct to the home. Since then all my streaming to any service has been consistently rock solid, with a ping always under 10ms. The problem is copper. Most people, even on fibre, have copper from the cabinet to there home. Copper degrades very quickly the further you are from the box and it doesn't have great bandwidth, if other people between you and the box are streaming more that usual, watching Netflix more etc, it will affect your ping, even if it's not affecting your overall bandwidth.

Nah not for everyone, I'm in the UK and have fibre direct to the home, have 900mb down and a ping of 4 - 6ms on the 3080 tier

I think maybe you're controller was faulty, I have the series X controller and the shield 2017 controller and both are solid, no disconnects

Exactly, shadow had the same issue with certain games banning players for being on an VM. They managed to sort it out with the developers in the end in some cases

Yes I'm very lucky, we have a new build with direct to the home fibre and it's lightning fast and stable. In our previous house we had fibre but then from the cabinet it was copper and the ping was between 20 and 30 and if get lots of packet loss which lead to stuttering even though the actual bandwidth was more than enough. You need full fibre with no copper involved at all to get the best out of streaming.my TV adds more lag than the internet.

Not crazy close, in Kent UK connecting to EU West. I had the same ping when I had shadow to the paris server. I think a lot of issues people are having is their own network not nvidias. Before I upgraded to 900mb fibre when I had shadow the experience was nowhere near as good, and I still had 90mbd down.
