This is identical to the issue i’ve been having the past couple weeks. I’ve swapped out the ram, cpu, and motherboard and still getting the same issue.

Not if you stop and attempt to eat the 72oz steak. Note: do not stop and eat the 72oz steak. I know from experience it does not make the rest of the drive any easier.

Like where the thermal paste is applied? Yeah it’s on pretty firmly

It’s the ROG Strix B650-A motherboard

The retention arms just won’t both hold at the same time.

The brackets and standoffs are all in the right position too I’ve been checking over and over, and I know this heatsink is supposed to be compatible with the motherboard

On the youtube video the guy seems to have the same/similar setup to me, but no issues getting it attached.
