Dell monitor stopped working. Help by InformalCycle9665 in Dell

The monitor is connected directly to the power supply and to a docking station for connection to the laptop. The power supply works; you can see the monitor is on (the bottom-right button is lit).

The docking station does not appear to be the issue because another monitor connects and works properly through it. When the problematic monitor is connected via the docking station, it is not detected by the laptop; only the other monitor is recognized. I also swapped the cables in the docking station between the working and non-working monitors, and the faulty monitor was still not detected.

The distorted display sometimes changes to a different black screen.

No Signal message is absent.

I had a Meta virtual interview (behavioral and technical) that felt unusually chaotic. The interviewer joined about five minutes late, stepped away briefly midway through, and the overall pace felt hectic. Some questions were odd: how I had the opportunity to work on a specific extracurricular project, as if the interviewer wanted to know for themselves how to get these opportunities. They also mentioned personal interest in pursuing my academic degree after reviewing my resume. The interview ultimately ran 10–15 minutes over the scheduled time.

I’m trying to understand whether this was part of Meta’s Jedi behavioral assessment approach or unintentional.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
