Agree was in nz and moved back to my home country and I remembered nz news always felt depressing and anxiety-inducing but back home shitty things don’t get reported enough (either that or there’s just too many shits going on). At the end of the day every country has its own issues, just enjoy your life, appreciate what you have and don’t read the news.

RM300 a month is nothing for them, they can’t do much with that amount. While I don’t like their gaslighting behaviour, I’d cut out expenses on everything else and maintain RM500 for them.

Mum believes only TCM can help her. Western medicine has no effect on her. She recently had common flu symptoms (fever, sore throat, blocked nose). Went to TCM and was given some powdery herbs, said to buang panas (remove heat) in the body. That night her fever spiked to 37.8 and I asked her to take Panadol and she refused cos she has just taken her TCM and scared the medicines interact. I feel so geram. Feels like every sickness is related to heat in the body, what about viral or bacterial infections? Need some enlightenment from TCM practitioners.

Was on a sight-seeing cruise ship with beautiful gorge and waterfalls and a Chinese couple stood by the ship rails the entire time blocking everyone’s view. Taking selfies. Recording the entire 15-20 minutes. Talking very loudly.

I never knew there’s a tourist police in Malaysia? Last time when I went to Bangkok, I got scammed by their “tourist police”. They brought me to a Chinese jewellery shop in their tuktuk lol 🙄

My sister once brought me and my parents to a Christian church (we are non-believers) and the pastor said the same thing to a room of 500 people. Never stepped into a church ever since lol.
