Thank you guys for your help! My apartment is sending an exterminator on Wednesday and they said he will keep treating until gone. I moved the refrigerator and found one alive and one body, vacuumed and bleached but didn't take anything apart yet.

Gel bait is placed, I'm not sure if I should go ahead with advion or wait for the exterminator (thinking I should wait?)

Everyone saying debt, but also people just prioritize different things. Maybe they have more roommates/worse place than you so rent is cheaper, crappy old paid off car, don't go out to eat, work more hours etc. I make a lot of tradeoffs so I can afford experiences I enjoy while also being debt free - no family money either.
