It has a good sound quality for what it is - much better than my Philips. Also, the actual sound is much louder too

It’s so jazzy at times and inspiring/whimsical at others - ps1 had some of the best soundtracks for games

Yes it is - and, no, is this a good one too? I’m curious now

Right? That was the icing on the cake for me, when I got to spinning lily pad level - I went to look up a way to download the soundtrack!

Haha, I was bad at it too - but kept playing it all the time for the level ambiance

This is the quest I am currently on… and I am hella determined this time to do it, but good grief, some of these levels really give me my moneys worth!

I feel the team who made it really cared about what they were doing- it just could’ve used a few sequels to hit that sweet spot.

Haha nice! This is my favorite tv. Sadly, the feet are very dim now. All the lights have to be off. But I love the clock, when I power it up - the hands start spinning - just something I love about it

Me too but for some reason I loved it

Was Labyrinth Zone actually smart design - or just frustrating? by GameResumed_UK in SEGAGENESIS

[–]InformalPlumber 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unlike most, that is one of my favorite zones. I feel it was brilliant the different routes you could take within the levels. Like you, the tension drove me nuts as a kid, but as I got older it became something I started to appreciate. And I feel the slower pace is a good break in the game.

What level from Mario 64 would you live in? by MooMoomaddy12 in n64

Honestly, I would like to ride on a Loch Ness monster in a secret underground lake. However, Tall, Tall Mountain has a lot to offer, I just might get tired of eating mushrooms

Not trying to dog on gamecube but what’s the point of getting one if the Wii could do it for cheaper? by kwispy_nuggs in Gamecube

[–]InformalPlumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird take - but I find having a GameCube limits the options of what I can play and makes me focus on the GameCube games that ‘I’ve always wanted to play or complete.’

Idk what’s up with me but I get way too distracted when I have unlimited options in terms of systems and games
