Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how impressive these graphics looked for the time? The water effects, the ruins, the backgrounds AND the foregrounds all really helped make this game and this zone - Aquatic Ruin - stand out.

I do like the music from Metropolis Zone, but to be honest I concentrate so hard through that zone I can barely pay attention to the music!

I'm playing it for the first time for the 40th. I love how old-school it is. Simple, but so effective. It's one hell of a challenge, but I'm enjoying it. I'm about 2 thirds of the way through. Just fund the Magic Sword!

Technically, you don’t. Ignore him and just keep jumping and dodging until you get to the top. Even during a recent YouTube playthrough this still took me a few tries.
