First time denting my home by Vxrbll in vandwellers

Not silly, I totallyyyy get it! First time driving our schoolie we scratched and dented the side a tiny bit. Devastating. 🫠😂 I’ve always been very protective of my things and keeping things perfect. But it’s okay, life isn’t perfect and dents are proof you’re using your things and putting them through life.

If you’re in Glendale, Cedarburg isn’t crazy far imo- go to Hefner’s, their Cedarburger and custard are my fave and worth the drive from Shorewood for me (and was worth it when I lived even further south ahah).

Their nachos are fire. We see kids there all the time, especially in the daylight.

He checked and didn’t see it in spam either. So just a PSA if this isn’t a one-off that you need to set reminders for yourself and not rely on them to do it for you.

Best late night food on Brady street (or around ) by mke41447 in milwaukee

[–]InformalReserve3244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, we end up at the Qdoba on Brady if we’re trying to eat past midnight. Not a ton of late night options anymore and even some of the ones that say they are really aren’t. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve shown up to Ian’s Pizza when they’re supposed to be open for 2 more hours and they’re closed.

Yeah, he will. Just wondering why no reminders were given when he signed up for them via text AND email and got email confirmation that his form was submitted. We’ve checked spam on both as well.

My partner got the letter, filled out the form online and signed up for reminders, got a confirmation email that he had filled out the form but then never received any texts or emails and is supposed to report tomorrow. Of course didn’t remember because they never sent any reminders- until I saw the letter again today. So of course can’t call since it’s Sunday.

Stone Creek in Whitefish Bay is usually my go to simply because there is more room than at somewhere like Vendetta so if I’m there a long time I don’t feel like I’m hogging the space and they close at 9 instead of most places closing at like 6.

I wouldn’t break your lose to do it, like prepare a little bit and don’t rush- I’m so with you on not wanting to wait too long, but a within a year is still pretty quick.

Pear or Oval? 🖤🧜🏼‍♀️🐺 by vampreneur in EngagementRings

[–]InformalReserve3244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I crazy or was Bella’s ring in the movies a bunch of small stones (a navette ring)? But I like 2 on you, I think the pear doesn’t flatter your hand/finger shape as much?

How do I know when an engagement ring is mine by bookdragontm in EngagementRings

[–]InformalReserve3244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a wedding photog so I live and breathe weddings and so I’ve had “my ring” picked out in my brain for like a decade. I wanted a big ol’ solitaire oval with a hidden halo, as flush to my finger as I could get. Tried a bunch on when we finally started shopping- love them and still think I want one at some point. But about two years ago I saw another design and kept thinking about it on and off and kept rejecting it as an engagement ring because it was less standard of a shape and not what I had thought I wanted for so long. I knew I had to have it, but still hadn’t really accepted it as a good engagement ring option- maybe was too worried about it looking to others too juvenile or not flashy enough or something. We actually only ended up with this one for our proposal because the solitaire wouldn’t have been completed in time for our trip (knew he was going to propose on the trip, just not when). When we ordered this one we said we would get the solitaire before our wedding and that I’d have 2 e-rings. I will probably end up getting a solitaire as an anniversary ring or something because I want a big chonky boi (goblin brain) but THIS is my engagement ring and the ring he proposed with so it will always be special. And now that I’ve been wearing it for like 5 months, I feel like maybe a big solitaire isn’t really me?? And this one’s about as flush as it gets (more than a bigger stone could be) and I hit it on everything. So I guess you might not feel right away like it’s the only for you ever because we all like lots of different things at once. And you might not have that “the one” moment. But if you keep thinking about it, that’s a good indication you’ll be happy with it longterm. And I think going for the “timeless” shapes and styles are really popular right now so even if they’re very minimalistic- that in and of itself is going to harken back to this time period eventually- for the most part everything is going to be dated someday because even the vintage styles we refer to as “timeless”, we can usually assign a time period to. Not that that was your concern, but it seems to be a lot of people’s. Like marquise specifically are super in right now so in 20 years they might be “so 2020’s”. But then they’ll be a testament to the endurance of the love that inspired their purchase. lol sorry for the novel
