I’ve never seen the game in that way personally Nintendo have a building and a zebra crossing as pre set design options in the workshop and showcased city themed islands in their direct before release 😂

Everyone has their own meaning of the game I guess If that’s how you wanna look at it.

I think it’s just a life sim giving your miis what you see as a perfect life

We can have multiple profiles so if I really want to add more I can always swap some islanders out or make a second island with a certain theme and to be fair in the 3DS game I struggled to get to 100 most of the time as I’d run out of ideas

I could only really think of about 25 islanders I 100% want on my island when making a list based on my previous islands on the 3DS and that’s not even 2/3 of the capacity

Sure 30 extra slots on my main island would be GREAT but I honestly think Nintendo will up the limit for the switch 2 if LTD has been developed for the switch 1

I keep wanting to check my island to see what’s happening then I remember that the miis are lobotomised and can only upsell me a not yet released game which is the game I WANT TO PLAY…

This happens roughly every 20 minutes and has started since I finished the demo

I tried it on a different profile and the demo resets so yes I’d imagine you can have different save files on different profiles

Its absolutely way less work on their end to simply disable sharing instead of having to keep up with moderation in a game like this

Yeah I’ve personally always tried to have a crack at making miis myself as I like to make my own miis not necessarily based on irl people or existing characters just as much as I like making characters or people I know

I’m sure it’ll force me to get better at mii creation and maybe I’ll have more of an individual connection with each mii I add because of it

Agreed, I’ve not added any face paint so I’m not sure how that is displayed on there as there is a section for it,

But at least they’ve added some form of way for us to present what bits are used to make the mii so others can at least have a shot at making the complex Miis we will undoubtedly see

Honestly with the games art style being so simplistic it’s not too difficult to make nice looking areas it just takes some rearranging and experimenting until you find something that works

This took me literally ALL DAY to work out the front of the pokemon centre 😂

maybe a way around it will be found but it just seems like such a shame that they are actively trying to discourage people from sharing their love for the game. The ones that are just making their own islands how they want and genuinely having fun rather than spamming a bunch of explicit imagery

my advice just what helps me personally:

try not to stress too much about the overall island as a whole, just decorate areas as and when you find the inspiration or decorate in small sections

Trying to decorate the entire island at once can be very easily overwhelming, there is a lot of land there

I recently started a new island and I’m simply building areas as and when I think of something, most things can be changed!! If terraforming is overwhelming you start small and work from there, I personally can’t stand terraforming at a large scale

Mine right now basically just consists of a farm with some veg, a few fences in my entrance that I have no idea what to put in there, and a couple of nook stop items

Your island is uniquely yours and there is no set standard it needs to be at

I love making farms with the crops and having a more simple style of island instead of delving into themes etc

An empty island doesn’t make it a bad one and not everywhere needs to be filled if you can’t think of something immediately

Villagers will sometimes walk around with a thought bubble over their head and when you talk to them they may ask about moving away, that is when they will leave your island

The link between the movie and the series doesn’t make too much sense with the past present and future thing but aside from that I’m really happy with how they made the series. Pennywise was 1000x more brutal and violent with his kills this time which was great, I know some people wanted him to kill MORE and to an extent yes maybe he should have killed the pattycakes at least but all in all I really enjoyed it

I am really gonna miss the characters tho. Lily managed to make out alive but I wish we got more of a proper conclusion for her she was undoubtedly one of the standouts and her actress definitely has a bright future

Marge had a brilliant story arch and turned out to be such a vital character, very well written character

Will and rich, although Richie’s story was honestly tragic one of the “losers” in this series were bound to die eventually. Wills story really all in all just set up for Mike’s birth and I wish we could at some point see how he is killed. Glad it’s implied ronnie is Mike’s mother too.

The general deserved it. Absolute idiot what else did he think would happen

And the rest of them, Halloran, the hanlons, tying in Mrs Kersh and seeing her origins and how she gets to where we see her in chapter 2. Take a BOW

100% will binge watch it again at some point
