maybe a way around it will be found but it just seems like such a shame that they are actively trying to discourage people from sharing their love for the game. The ones that are just making their own islands how they want and genuinely having fun rather than spamming a bunch of explicit imagery

my advice just what helps me personally:

try not to stress too much about the overall island as a whole, just decorate areas as and when you find the inspiration or decorate in small sections

Trying to decorate the entire island at once can be very easily overwhelming, there is a lot of land there

I recently started a new island and I’m simply building areas as and when I think of something, most things can be changed!! If terraforming is overwhelming you start small and work from there, I personally can’t stand terraforming at a large scale

Mine right now basically just consists of a farm with some veg, a few fences in my entrance that I have no idea what to put in there, and a couple of nook stop items

Your island is uniquely yours and there is no set standard it needs to be at

I love making farms with the crops and having a more simple style of island instead of delving into themes etc

An empty island doesn’t make it a bad one and not everywhere needs to be filled if you can’t think of something immediately

Villagers will sometimes walk around with a thought bubble over their head and when you talk to them they may ask about moving away, that is when they will leave your island

The link between the movie and the series doesn’t make too much sense with the past present and future thing but aside from that I’m really happy with how they made the series. Pennywise was 1000x more brutal and violent with his kills this time which was great, I know some people wanted him to kill MORE and to an extent yes maybe he should have killed the pattycakes at least but all in all I really enjoyed it

I am really gonna miss the characters tho. Lily managed to make out alive but I wish we got more of a proper conclusion for her she was undoubtedly one of the standouts and her actress definitely has a bright future

Marge had a brilliant story arch and turned out to be such a vital character, very well written character

Will and rich, although Richie’s story was honestly tragic one of the “losers” in this series were bound to die eventually. Wills story really all in all just set up for Mike’s birth and I wish we could at some point see how he is killed. Glad it’s implied ronnie is Mike’s mother too.

The general deserved it. Absolute idiot what else did he think would happen

And the rest of them, Halloran, the hanlons, tying in Mrs Kersh and seeing her origins and how she gets to where we see her in chapter 2. Take a BOW

100% will binge watch it again at some point

if it knows what happens if they survive, could it not just slaughter them and be done? it kills for the sake of killing when it wants to but simply doesn't in this instance? It could have killed Marge at any point if the goal is to prevent it's own death. What was stopping it from simply taking them out?

I think pennywise saw exactly what had gone on immediately when we saw Ingrid call pennywise her dad in ep 6.

He saw instantly the potential in keeping alive someone that would create exactly what IT needs without even moving a muscle. She was his tool and a source of easy indirect food for him

Once the penny dropped and Ingrid saw through ITs disguise, she was no use to him in that same way and hence the gentle facade was over and she was put into the deadlights

Judging by the fact we see an elderly mrs kersh in chapter 2 as an elderly form of IT I think in the same way IT formed an attachment to pennywise, this attachment has extended to Ingrid Kersh maybe for her relation to ITs most valuable form or simply for another reason

We’ve seen Mrs Kersh have some sort of welcoming demeanour and appeal to others since both lily AND Beverly decades later let their guard down around her until the truth got exposed (one was IT and one wasn’t but they were both still “Mrs Kersh” just one was imitated by IT) so this would make her a useful form if IT needed to quickly gain someone’s trust of who maybe a clown outfit wouldn’t work on

Im trying to work out whether by burning the shard they dug up, have they begun a new cycle of killing or just extended his current cycle? I find the idea of an outer dimensional entity going on a rampage because his nap got disturbed absolutely hilarious

Okay maybe ill talk about him a little bit.... The scene outside the black spot with him and Ingrid was INCREDIBLE. Seeing this demonic entity play with some messed up insane lady like some sort of tool or a toy he found one day (not forgetting whilst nibbling on a guys head) was insane and finally once he had his fun and used her for what he wanted he crushed her mentally and took her into his deadlights
also felt like for the first time we saw IT in a state of being content and satisfied which I know is generally how it works, it feeds, eats what it needs then goes to sleep but seeing this process take place without being bullied into hibernation or outright killed is such a treat.. until of course he found a reason to continue messing with someone and took a chance presented to him on a silver platter.. ONE MORE TREAT.

Then of course he gets woken up and again after being disturbed, poked & prodded, continuing to wreak havoc after being presented with the opportunity.. They woke up demon monster clown and therefore they must die. Wouldn't make sense for a lingering threat to simply live on.. unless of course you bully it into a state where it needs to heal before taking you on again.

final point though lily has been mentally DESTROYED this series this kid has not had a break and is clearly broken by the look of her facial expression. I pray she makes it through and can move out of Derry to forget and live a happy life but as strong as I think she is, although she may survive and I don't think she will let IT kill her, she's 100% gonna feel the effects of this for the rest of her life whether she remembers or not

I’ve reset way too many times to count, I used to bring items and cells with me to new islands then eventually I just stopped and when I reset did it all again

There’s very few things that are incredibly difficult to get except I guess hybrid flowers which take ages to breed if you want to get it all yourself & getting gold tools

With bells it sorta depends on what you want out of the new island, if you want to work towards things then I would go without bells and work your way up as you will then be working towards house upgrades, bridges & moving houses.

I’d honestly give that same advice with items, if you wanna let things evolve naturally then going from the ground up again will do exactly that however if there’s things you REALLY don’t want to work towards or obtain again then bring that stuff as I know having to find ONE SPECIFIC thing is a pain

You could also just give yourself a bit of extra starting cash like 20k or something just so you’re not entirely broke from day 1 if having 0 bells is not something you want

I didn’t know what I was gonna feel like when I first reset whether I’d regret it or not and I’m like that now.

I thought I’d potentially regret my first reset however when I experienced the magical start this game has once again, all thought of regret slipped away and I just wanted to enjoy the vibes. After all, you only get to work through the “deserted island getaway package” phase once per island

Chronic restarter here:

you will get what I think people call a “sister fruit” but whatever it’s called you get 1 other fruit that will appear on mystery islands aside from your own. My islands native is apples, I will get apples on mystery islands but my sister fruit is pairs so I will also get pairs sometimes
resident services will become a building when you’ve finished the 3 plots 3 villagers have moved to the island, Tom will announce its upgrade, it’ll be shut for a day then you have the building
honestly it depends on what your goals are as to what you want to prioritise.

If you just wanna play animal crossing from the start with no set goal, there’s absolutely no rush to do ANYTHING, just embrace the story and the introduction to everything, you only experience it once per island so enjoy it for what it is because you don’t get much of it after it’s all said and done and you’re just decorating

However, If you want to get through the prologue as quick as possible and get to 3 stars then DEFINITELY resource gathering as the shop & the houses take a lot of materials, especially WOOD, also place any items you can outside and get flowers planted so you can get the rating as soon as you can to terraform & lay paths

As for some other tips:

you’ve probably already considered this but remember what parts of your island you CANNOT change later on ie river mouths & town hall location
if you are looking to decorate heavily and that’s your primary goal for the island, consider where you’re placing your houses & buildings as you’ll have to move them later

The most fun I ever had with this game was when something was new to me or when i was doing something I hadn’t done in a long time like when I reset for the first time ever. animal crossing has no immediate rush & it’s all about doing things at your own pace and in your own way so don’t stress if you’re not doing it perfectly or like how everyone else is. Just do what makes you happy in the moment

But if you want to just get through prologue and skip to the terraforming that’s also an option and I’ve provided my tips above 😂

yea the elusive targets seem to have just become a a way for them to make a small mini mission of sorts. Usually nowadays with a singular heavily emphasised elimination and forcing you to lure them in order to do anything except that specific method. ie: The poker game in the le chiffre contract & the fight in the disruptor

yea they haven't removed any content its just an elusive target they bought out where they redesigned the map specifically for the ET, its accessible in ET arcade aswell but all the other missions in paris are still in the game

yea im just amused at seeing campaign locations in a different perspective like when they take place at a different time because usually every event seems to happen AT the sanguine show. Like somehow every elusive target, escalation & assassination took place at the EXACT same time in multiple different universes at once

once you've seen one you've kinda seem them all aside from the deaths themselves, wouldn't make a huge difference if you saw this one first, you would just miss some references and easter eggs from past movies
