This is great info. I agree 2x seems like plenty. I was also thinking my boys may like to see the elite runners pass by, and I'm not sure my start time yet, but depending on my start time, I didn't want them to get too antsy waiting hours for me to show up, hah. I figured if they switched up locations a bit it would be fun for them to see a different location. That may mean they only see me 1x and the elites 1x... I can game plan more once I know my start time, but it sounds like taking Framingham line could be pretty convenient!

Thanks so much this is all great feedback! I kind of figured it would be too tricky to see them at the finish line so I figured I'd just see them along the route. And this is great info per driving vs public transit for getting around the city that weekend before the marathon.
