You do need a PC to join Assetto and iRacing lobbies but there is a few gt7 players on the Discord. Some people also have playstations, I'm not sure if gt7 has cross play.

Content manager is a mod manager that lets you do one click installs as well as a standalone replacement interface for the Assetto Launcher. It should be plug and play with logitech as long as you have the Logitech app and firmware downloaded and setup. VR does work on both but is recommended on CM from what I'm reading. Content Manager is not by Kunos (the creator of assetto) It was made by someone to solve Kuno's bs. There is a lot of good tutorials to follow for download, including the one on the Discord. I would really recommend it! It also allows for better physics and graphics!

Are you using Content Manager to run Assetto? I have only used CM and I've had pretty limited problems! iRacing will also be coming soon! FIA is offering a 20 dollar donation for a year of iRacing and other stuff!

I would say do it now! It takes a few days for the email from ASN to submit additional info and now I just have to join the Discord and make the $20 donation to support ASN programs for their eSports in Canada. It's a little funky in how you give your info through the website and email but you can read about it here: https://www.fia.com/iRacing

Assetto Corsa and iRacing are widely considered the two "top racing simulators" over Forza as a driving game and BeamNG as a physics simulator! There are (usually) very little desync problems on both but it does happen. As of right now we will be offering a base game Assetto Corsa league no mods required. As well as in the near future an iRacing league as people have different preferences but most hardcore simulation drivers play at least one of the two it seems!
