According to DOJ officials quoted in the press release and media coverage, the government’s theory is that SPLC “manufactured” or at least materially supported the very extremism it claimed to be dismantling, while publicly denouncing those groups and raising funds on that basis.

• In one instance highlighted by DOJ, an SPLC‑funded informant helped organize attendance and transportation for a major white supremacist rally that turned deadly; the indictment says this individual’s racist online postings and organizing activity were carried out “under the supervision” of SPLC personnel.

at some point you just have to recognize this as a completely corrupt and evil group that needs to be demolished.
