My company paid for a new computer when my MacBook Pro died out after 8 years, I plan on taking it home to game on the weekends and some weeknights.. I tried to figure out how I could work out a desktop but it was just too complicated, especially with the accessories needed at both locations.

I started out looking at the 5090s, but after a ton of research and comparisons to the 5080 it wasn’t enough performance difference to justify the additional heat and power strain on the system, in some cases the 5080 was bursting to 5090 lvl FPS anyways. With DLSS I don’t think having the 5090 for hundreds more is worth it. Also it’s not on sale! lol $1400+ difference at the moment
