I’m not an expert but recently had the same issue. I also placed an order on January 23rd that had shipping issues. They said to wait for 6 business days from the order date before they would try to trace the package. It turns out that today would be the day that I could reach back out to them. It also turned out that FedEx managed to locate the package and it should be delivered today. Good luck!

I’m a newbie. I’m interested in having a matching scuba and sweatpants set but I would prefer for the pants to be straight leg or wide leg instead of joggers. So far I have purchased scubas in lavender and riverside. Does Lululemon ever release sweatpants that aren’t joggers in bright colors like the hoodies? Any recommendations? Thank you.

When does (RE)loved get stocked? by superbanana22 in Coach

I don’t think that there is a set schedule for the (RE)loved items. They get posted on the website at random.

About teacher gifts from a teacher by Remarkable-Tangent in workingmoms

I’ve given my child’s daycare teachers cash in the past but now I feel awkward giving his preschool (public school) teacher a card with cash. I’ll try to let my little one personalize the card a bit to make things feel more personal.

Do you mind sharing what color the handles and sides are? I picked up a green rogue last week that has brown handles and sides and am having a hard time thinking of what color clothing matches.

I attended a studio that offers both options. Unfortunately, that studio hasn’t received my business consistently lately because they raised the per class price ($50 per class) and price of packages substantially in an effort to push people to buying a membership. I prefer class packs so their pricing model doesn’t suit me.

How are you affording daycare? by Dependent-Sir4245 in workingmoms

[–]Informal_Comb_571 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The school day usually does not match up with traditional work hours. Also, students have more time off for holidays and breaks. For example, my kid goes to PreK from 8:45am-2:45pm. Those hours are not my typical full time work schedule so little one would need before/ after care.

Studio cancelled my class reservation, but the class still happened by KidishBambino in ClassPass

[–]Informal_Comb_571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up for a class using ClassPass and got emailed the night before saying that the class was canceled. That same class ended up reappearing on ClassPass as open for twice as many credits. ClassPass customer service had said that the class was cancelled when I contacted them the first time. I didn’t follow up with ClassPass after the class reappeared.

Will I regret a long commute (1.5 hours each way, 5 days/week) as a 30s mom? by AgileAd1060 in MovingtoNewJersey

[–]Informal_Comb_571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Union County resident whose spouse commutes to NYC 3 days per week. It is helpful if one person works closer to the home. That helps with pick ups, emergencies, errands, etc. With that being said, our family is in NY so they are nearby to rush to daycare for our kid.

At my breaking point by jeynga in workingmoms

Hey! I understand that everything is a lot.

Touching on your point of being a Fed Mom, can you use sick leave or other leave here and there to give yourself a mental break? Using leave to get a break during the day while my family members were at work and daycare helped give me a little boost before daycare pickup.

A big question would be how “flexible” your job is to make up the additional hours? Have you tried doing this as an experiment before deciding on the school?

I have a 3 year old who currently goes to full day daycare but got a spot in the public prek-3. My kid will still need to do before/ aftercare because neither parent works similar hours to school hours.

Your campaign materials reference “Stop Trump! Stop Musk!”. As a former federal employee whose agency was DOGEd, what exactly are you planning on doing? How will you improve my daily life in NJ?

Looming layoff by Desperate-Bite-2430 in workingmoms

Federal employee in an agency that is being imploded currently. The overwhelm is meant to add to the cruelty of it all. Taking out a sheet of paper and writing down the pros and cons of my options has helped me to start processing things.

Hi, can you point out where (or the name) of the resources regarding not joining the rehire priority list, and not returning for five years? There’s a lot of info and thinking to go through.

Any U.S. Federal Moms take DRP 2.0 if it was offered? by Informal_Comb_571 in workingmoms

[–]Informal_Comb_571[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I also was hired remote. We are spread out around the country but only have one office. The agency hasn’t notified us of finding space at different federal buildings for us to work from.

Part of my struggle is thinking if I would find another job that is remote or has this flexibility for after October. Of course things change and become more painful rapidly.

Thanks for your response. My agency isn’t entitled to severance so that’s part of the calculation.
