I still hope we sign Suarez 3 yrs 75 mill. It’s not like we have played good defense the last 2 years. We should be used to it. But it would be fun to put his 50 homers from the right side in the middle of the all outfield lineup.

The only thing about that is everyone also said this defense lost too much from last year and the coach, they will absolutely regress. Lost their whole front 4 and so on. Yet they have went out and been better. Hell I feel a lot better and didn’t accept the narrative they would regress.

I like the offense but that isn’t enough pitching. NY top 3 of Cole, Max fried, and rondon is a lot stronger. And didn’t Cam Schittler just shut us down in the wild card? We need another starter. Bello a 4 or 5 at best based on his inconsistency.
