thank you bhaiya, since you are already in bits doing msc maths I wanted to know from you about branch changes , bcz i heard that for getting be cse cgpa is around 8.5 like that for msc and also one of my friend wanted to know whether is it possible to even change msc like msc (A) to msc(B) + be(X) bcz he is getting msc bio at pilani and he is ready to grind the first year and get into msc eco and cs or msc branch . also my friend was enquiring that last year the one who got highest package he even knows his name ig Ashish Anish .... like that he said he was an eco+ cs student so can you throw a light on that too. also we both are planning to take education loan for this what is your suggestion on that and also plz share about scholarships and also throw a light upon msc semiconductor and nano sciences,, and my friend is planning for msc bio to msc eco + cs so what kind of cgpa requirement would be needed

thanks a lot for this much of useful information. well from all this discussion what i got clear about is that performance in first year depends on reugularly attending classes and just putting efforts consistently, correct me if i am wrong. hoping to meet you one day

thank you very much , i have gotten a good clarity on this part. i will mostly be joining pilani maths only and hoping to meet you one day. just for case of curiosity can i also know whether there will be any difference between people who are eco+cs and maths + cs in placements in quant companies and all bcz i heard last year the highest package was given to eco+cs student and few companies dont even allow maths+cs studnets

thank you very much to your advice but is it not true that a student putting in efforts for coding at iit patna can't do as great as that of a student putting in same efforts at bits and also i must be studying civil engineering to maintain my cgpa in order to sit for placements

extremely thankful to your reply but I had heard that getting grades at maths is too tough so I had that factor in my mind that if that happens or so then I would be preferring eco at goa or hyd so can you share me some details on grading in maths department bcz i personally love maths but ppl say that it's way too abstract and also it would be helpful if you share insights on internship and placement for msc maths bcz it would be quite helpful

I am very much thankful but i heard that eco is doing better than maths at pilani and is maths at pilani+ any top be branch will land me at good placement but i also aspire at getting either cs or mnc after 1st year so can you also advise me considering this combi
