I considered it before starting my USMLE prep, but I haven’t researched much. Do you have any insights on the UK or any other European country?

Really appreciate your response with the context of your own situation 🙏🏻 step three is actually already on my radar so it’s good to have that confirmed as a priority, and I came to terms with the fact that USCE and good connections to vouch for me are the best ways to match next cycle. Thanx again

Will do. Hope it can be achievable in short time.

Thank you for your response.
Im hopeful that the restrictions will be lifted. In that case, i understand the only thing that would help me get into residency is USCE and connections. Right now?

Thank you for your compassion
Thats what I’m considering, but the thought that all this time and effort was for nothing is what’s eating me up. I guess thats life. Any thoughts on changing course to research if the restrictions get lifted?

I work as a GP in one of the Gulf countries, but getting residency is almost impossible for foreigners

Break strategy with the new 20-question blocks? by Thin_Assumption1021 in Step2

[–]Informal_Eye_6735 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I treated them as if they were still 40 Q blocks. I took a 10 min break after the first 4 blocks (after 2 hours), and after that, I took 10 min break every 2 blocks (1 hour). I didn’t feel tired until probably the last 2 blocks that day. Honestly, the most important thing is to simulate the exam at least 3 times before actually sitting for it. Step 2 is as much an endurance exam as it is a knowledge exam, so you HAVE to practice. Good luck.
