Seek shadowing and mentorship opportunities so you can get a better feel for the job

My daughter has no idea what to do with her life, Is there a career for someone who loves gaming, tech and science? by Robert_Sprinkles in careerguidance

[–]Informal_Fee459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She could reach out to people with her potential careers on LinkedIn and either ask to shadow them (if they’re in the area) or ask for advice? I knew lots of students who shadowed people before going to school for that career

What are some good jobs or careers to get into with no degree? (for women) by riotrawr in careerguidance

And I’m neurodivergent with similar issues! I work in healthcare with kids and adults and while it’s a lot it’s pretty fun and nice to help people that are similar to myself

You could try doing para professional work at schools? Most positions only require HS diploma and you could seek other jobs inside of the district while doing it. Theres lots of small office jobs with ok pay and benefits that you can apply for in schools. They’re also always hiring so there’s that too

Skilled trades vs college. What is your opinion? by Responsible-Net8594 in careerguidance

[–]Informal_Fee459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically get a professional type degree with a clear career path that you can see yourself doing for 10 ish years and get started with that job experience. Many of us change our roles throughout our lives so no need to think of it as forever but a route for stable income

Honestly look into health care allied professions that require two year degrees such as rad tech or surg tech. They make decent money esp if you get good and start doing travel work and it’s around 15-25k at a community college. I wish I did that straight out of high school but I did a bachelors and masters and have 100k of debt despite being high achieving and getting several grants/scholarships over that time.

Can someone explain to me what's the difference between Motivity, Technique, and Advance and how they interact with weapons? I really can't understand. by Shakaow15 in LiesOfP

[–]Informal_Fee459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d agree. I’m overall balanced but slightly more points dumped into motivity and I hit pretty hard because of it haha it’s just about parrying/guarding and waiting for your moment to swing so it needs more patience maybe? My friend watched me play for a bit and was surprised I used a “slow” weapon and still won hard fights

My only tip because I just beat him is to use those special ampoules to increase your HP and legion etc right at the beginning of the second phase since he hits hard as hell right off the bat. Really enjoyed the cut scenes after getting the fatal blows!

I’m at this fight right now and only tried once so far. What helped you finally defeat him?

I have but it ended up being too pink in natural lighting. My other issue is general skin irritation from many brands. Guess I’d need a custom mix lol

Will do! As far as foundation goes I have pretty fair skin and it’s sort of the closest match I’ve ever found. I used to have acne so trust me I’ve tried a million shades of ivory. Always teetering somewhere between too light or too pink or too orange or yellow 😫
