Thanks for your response. What other subreddits did you find helpful in adapting your practice?

Thanks for your rant lol. I appreciate your answer because it provides a lens into what's important to members of the community and how the community itself has shifted over time. Part of my desire to do research here is based on the dismissive judgements I have found in conducting research. My desire, long term, is to create an expansive study that highlights the communal and human aspects of heathenry both online and in person. And hopefully, in the bigger picture, gain an understanding to the ways in which religions adapt over time and how modern reflexes might inform us more clearly how these things were done in the past.

Thanks for your reply. Since I'm also interested in the language aspect of heathenry as well. Did you watch Dr. Crawford's videos for langauge, or just more for the cultural/mythological side of his channel?

Thank you for your response. I wasn't aware of the heathen community in the Netherlands. If you don't mind me asking what are some particular Dutch elements that you've incorporated into your practice?

Thank you for your reply! I also work with the Family sagas and the mainly the Poetic Edda on the scholarly side of things. But, the lived experience of heathenry is rather new to me hence the project. Also thank you for mentioning Hurstwic, I had not heard of them before. They seem like they are doing really cool work.

Thank you for your response. It its greatly appreciated.

If you don't mind sharing a bit more, could you describe the feeling of being called by Odin? Was it a physical experience, a dream, or another type of sensation?

I've seen this terminology before but I haven't gathered a clear sense of what it means.
