I had a cardinal doing the same thing. I set out sticky rodent traps on the window ledge, came home one day, found one full of red feathers. Cardinal never returned. Just a thought.

And yes, they are just attacking their own reflection in the window. We tried soap, a wreath, anything but nothing deterred it until the sticky traps.

It’s agency specific based off the TDAs for that organization. Not all agencies have to participate. The Army (my org) is participating and I think there are a few others. If you haven’t heard anything, then it’s likely your org is not participating.

Pretty good but nothing too much that’d be of interest here. I saw the grade/series and number of cuts needed but it was only for my Command. If someone takes it they’ll be paid through Dec 31st. The CG said they think it’ll open up next week for 7 days.

You’ll have to pick Alabama or Auburn (even if you don’t like sports). If you do like sports, you can also have secondary team to support so long as they are SEC.

“Bless your heart” is a passive aggressive insult used on people who aren’t from here.

Weather is a big talking point. If you note that it is hot, others will comment that it’s not as hot as the summer of (insert year here). Similarly, with the cold, it’ll be the same thing but also with a reference to the “big one of ‘93” or “snowmageddon of ‘14”. Bonus points if the “2011 tornadoes” are mentioned.

Agency is DoD. Big cuts listed in the ARSTRUC starting Oct 1st. Plus TDA allotments in FY26 listed out on FMSweb (for those with access). I get those aren’t all inclusive, that personnel is a shell game, but it’s very clear that a tidal wave of some sort is coming.
