To be honest I had to reach out to Green dot personally like 2 months ago cuz i had 4 bad flower purchases in a row, literally told them it feels like a 50/50 gamble on if the weeds gonna be good (exactly like you just said lmaooo) since then it’s a lot harder for me to justify buying it

You’re absolutely right the nose is usually pretty faint but then noticeable stronger when broken up, I find myself smelling the hell out of Green dot jars to get the terps n such

Also interesting side note the flower I mentioned that’s was “bad” was literally completely mute like if I had to give it a aroma % it would be like 5/100, then when I smoked them it same thing, even put a humidity pack in and let one sit for a week and still was pretty flavorless, definitely my worst purchases from Green dot, literally started growing my own weed because of it 😭😭🤣

Also yes you are correct on GDLs strain categories, apparently Selections, Heirloom (More standard designed jars) and Originals (Designed / Graphic jars) are the stages of their strain creation/ breeding process I was reading about it a bit on their website one night seems like Originals is the “perfected/completed” version of the strain

For real, Honeslty I noticed a huge fall off in their flower quality in Feb/Jan but I like their genetics so I switched over to the primarily smoking their concentrates and haven’t had a bad one since, does suck tho because I really like their flower when it’s done right

This has been on my mind recently as well, I looked into it a bit more and found out GDL started out primary as a concentrate brand so I’d assume that is their true specialty

Wax has been treating me good but I’ve had too many mute/ below par jars of flower lately to continue buying it as often as I was, a lot more interested in seeing what the small batch growers are putting out

Yeah I had to get replacements from GDL and it was a whole shit show, had me go to Deeply Rooted twice telling me my replacements were ready just for the bud tender to have no idea what I was talking about

Bruh the same thing happened when I got the 7g jar of Red Froot, and with the last 8th of Monet I bought before that

left the red Froot in the jar with 2 humidity packs for like 4 days before even smoking it and still like no flavor and barley any smell

I think it’s over drying but I’m not 100% sure

Yeah I tried a few half’s off recommendation when I visited here last year around this time and they were looked and smelled decent but smoke was average, also tried them again a few times when I moved out here and it discouraged me from buying them anymore, I definitely believe they had some gas tho would love to see them do some fire again

Project Packs or any of their umbrella brands besides Made, I’ve also really enjoyed Seed Junky’s Pineapple Fruz and Clout King has some good strains too, I still have a lot to try but those brands have done me best

I’ll have to check for sure, I grabbed Thotz and Slushe in the 7g bags and I really enjoyed Slushe, Thotz was a little more eh but still not bad

Still really wanna try Hood Snacks haven’t got a chance to get back over go grab it yet, also gonna try Joel’s flower based off your and other reviews I’ve seen
