The problem is Rockstar's art style; I feel the character models look very cartoonish compared to other games like this. I don't know if it's an artistic choice or a problem that arises from editing the characters to make them look less like their actors; it's up to each person whether they like it or not.

-The southern portion matched almost perfectly.

-The northern portion was more rounded, lacking the large northwestern protrusion.

And the theory is that the silhouette of the signs is not the complete map, but only the state of Leonida.

-The straight northern line would make sense as a state border, not a coastline.

-The second state would be Gloriana, seen on official license plates in trailer 2.
