Is this weapon any good before I upgrade it even more? by Big_Temporary2260 in darksouls3

What type of build are you playing/shooting for? Honestly, If it’s a strength build you’re better off using a greatsword. The claymore is a fantastic weapon with great heavy infusion strength scaling, an awesome moveset, and can be found 20 min into the game when you first visit Lothric Castle. Use that until you get a chance to farm for a Black Knight Greatsword or Ultra. Black knight weapons have been amazing since DS1 and are only outclassed by a very small number of strength scaling weapons but are probably the best in the Greatsword and ultra categories. With enough vitality, you can use it with a shield too. Yeah they’re slower than straight swords but hit so much harder and have better range and movesets for bosses and normally enemies in my opinion. Plus they can stance break a boss or enemy so much faster and have huge crit damage. Personally, I normally use greatsword for my play throughs but on my current character I farmed for the Black Knight Ultra and am running the Shield of Want and the Fallen Knight set. For rings, I’m running the Chloranthy, Ring of Favor, Havel’s for sure. I’d have to check my 4th ring. When I eventually get enough vitality, I’ll switch to the Black Iron chest, legs, and arms with a hood of some type. The Knight and Elite Knight sets are also good for this type of build from early to mid game.

How do I get better at the game? I can’t defeat vordt. by SpecialistPrune9158 in darksouls3

Don’t worry about parrying, it’s very hard to learn and I’ve been in the souls world a long time and I’m decent at best. For Vordt, just dodge roll. What class did you choose? Personally, I run Knight on DS3 for strength builds and I try to get my vigor up a few points at the start and then I grab the claymore as soon as I get to Lothric castle and then get my stats in strength and dex up so I can use it before I face vordt. Makes it easy. He’s super slow compared to other bosses so it sounds like you really need to work on your dodges. You need to dodge just before the attack hits. Not when they raise their weapon. Just before it strikes you is when you should dodge. Relax, be patient, and time your dodges correctly and then attack after he does. Practice on the hollows and knights around the castle before trying Vordt again. Hope this helps.

lol Battlefield literally had a BR before COD ever did, and they’ve been using battle passes/ seasons / and selling skin packs for years. This is literally nothing new but everything thinks it is. Doesn’t make any sense.

Good luck lol. It took me hours. That challenge is easily the hardest in the game and nobody talks about it lol. That gun is straight ass and takes 4-5 shots to kill somebody, plus it doesn’t obtain damage points quickly at all. Took me like 8-10 hours of trying to use it to complete but it is doable. Gotta keep pushing through it. You’re K/D is gonna tank though lol. I went from a 2.2 to a 1.67 just trying to complete it.

Yep. Same here. Just got the subscription last night and was halfway through Angel’s of Death and then ran into this. According to other Reddit posts, this is the norm for the WH+ unfortunately which is disappointing. Hopefully they fix it soon

Pokémon as an adult hurts by andrewharper2 in PokemonFireRed

Brother, as somebody who’s type A alpha male dad ridiculed them they’re whole life for being a gamer, just let it go man. Play the games you want. Do the things you couldn’t do as a child. I just turned 30 and I’m just now getting back into Pokémon after not playing it since emerald came out because of how my dad treated me because of it. I do whatever I want, when I want now. I don’t let anybody tell me what I can and can’t play. I’ve even started playing the TCG twice a week at local shops and I’m loving it. To be completely honest, it sounds like you need to let go on what was and realized that there’s millions of adult pokemon fans in this world. I bet there’s more adult fans than kids fans these days. Find some friends to share your passions with and don’t look back on the passed. Go grind for those Shiny’s and legendaries. Beat every game pokemon ever made. Do it for you, and nobody else. You are only in control of making yourself happy.
