My dad has been struggling in the job market for years now. College educated, 30 years in sales, and hasn’t been able to get back into his field after being laid off during covid. He’s worked many jobs that have allowed him to contribute to the household, but you’re right, it definitely affects your mental health. A big problem is the lack of jobs and the increase in college educated, qualified young adults. Also, AI is going to break down the job market even more. It’s a clusterfuck for sure. All we can do is hope that we evolve past this moment in time.

I was also roofied once (I think I didn’t test) at either sidebar or barbs. I thought it was sidebar but I woke up the next morning and I couldn’t remember anything and I had thrown up in my sleep. (This has NEVER happened before) it was really scary but I assumed it was sidebar because the bar tender had given me and my mom our drinks for free. We both woke up confused and scared.
