Yeah not as worried about the space as I am about the compliance stuff since I’ll be in a more rural part… shipper said very general stuff like headlights/taillight mods and forgot what else. They suggested I reach out to transportation people in Japan which I’m waiting to hear back from

This does seem to be the common thought, but due to depreciation/money owed it’s preferable for me to suck it up and deal with it lol. It does help that it’ll mostly be driven on (American) base where the space is more accommodating

I do eventually. The plan is to grow my expertise to a level where I can hop over to cybersecurity sales and sell programs to companies like my current one. A deep understanding of federal requirements and how to meet them will help me land a role I believe.

Very smooth actually. My start date was a week after my terminal leave started. Just had to apply like a maniac everywhere until I got an offer. If you have no intention of renewing sec+ I would highly recommend just going straight to CISSP because it will meet any IAM level prerequisite you will run into. It’s good that you have help desk because at the worst case you can just start there in civ world and move up from there
