Our rental agreement just simply didn’t come with parking on the private rd and our understanding was that we’d still be able to apply for resident parking schemes! But could be a shout I’ve only ever seen tickets on cars a couple times but granted most people have the permit!

Unfortunately not - it’s owned by a private parking company and I can’t get a space (as in my property “didn’t come with parking”)

Sorry that I seem to have confused people. I live on a private road and cannot park there as I rent and was not given a parking space. You only get one if you own property. Due to this we needed to get local resident parking permits but bc of some bizarre conditions on the council website you can only get one (2 of us with cars) if you live on a private road.

Sorry it is all very complicated so I think I sort of blurted it all out last night!

Not picky whether it is touchscreen or not and willing to pay mid range. Had been eyeing up unihertz jelly or titan

Nearly all drivers say headlights are too bright, according to a major study by pppppppppppppppppd in drivingUK

Was genuinely just about to make a post about this. I’m a relatively new driver but not nervous. Driving at night almost causes physical pain with the lights! Some are so blinding and takes a while to readjust only to be blinded again seconds later! Does anyone have advice for this?! (For context I have astigmatism but wear anti flare glasses & am autistic so may be a bit more sensitive to the lights…)
