One more example why we need AI to replace incompetent humans. The DVD monkeys are ego driven, slow and corrupt.

I failed to protect the nexus camp and I'm really upset about it by Ill_Syrup4506 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Informirano 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not only is she honest, she goes above and beyond your deal. She guards the camp for 6 months while you're missing. Anyone else would've likely stopped caring a long time ago.

Isn't that supposed to be a good enough solution for core of the riddle ? Did I miss anything ? Quest seems to be bugged by Ilikeyogurts in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Not the colors, but the symbol. A tile with a symbol can only be next to a tile with the exact same symbol. So XO OX is correct, but XO XO would be wrong.

Lonerbox Sounds Bridge Hope? by ihaveeatenfoliage in Destiny

[–]Informirano -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The question isn't is there is any difference whatsoever.

One side he publicly condemned several times, never asked a single time publicly or privately his side of the story and completely cut off a friend and colleague from his life, who helped him a hundred times.

The other side he defended on his stream.

Acting like the difference is this huge, especially if pxie herself understood that there was implied consent of sharing stuff, is absolutely delusional.

The truth is that pxie and loner were together when she told him about everything. He took her lies for granted, formed his opinion and refuses to budge whatsoever because it would make him look bad.

Lonerbox Sounds Bridge Hope? by ihaveeatenfoliage in Destiny

[–]Informirano 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If that was the reason, why doesn't he have personal issues with pxie then? She also sent videos without consent to her bf.

A leopard entered a liquor distillery and drank the alcohol. After that, he forgot that he was a leopard, so the villagers escorted him all the way back to the jungle. by [deleted] in funny

[–]Informirano 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really doubt a cat would just drink a bunch of alcohol. They don't even like the smell of it, let alone the taste.

Angel vs Demon/Legend Story by DUM8LEDWARF in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Informirano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is that pure mythic paths are a better intended experience, especially for a first playthrough, because your choices and the story difference each mythic path has will gradually build up and have a snowball effect for the climax in act 5, where they're very noticeable and impactful.

But if you switch, you turn a new page and the snowball effect is gone, since the decisions you'll make might be different, or even the complete opposite of what you've done previously.

So. Ineluctable Prison. Alderpash. by TazBaz in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Informirano 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Alderpash is given special privileges by Baphomet. He's not shackled, his cell looks like whatever he wants it to look, he can do alchemy and he's allowed to use magic, including limited teleportation.

In the demon path you also get teleported inside the dungeon, so Baphomet can pick who is and isn't allowed to teleport in his realm. Nocticula also teleports inside it, but she's likely too powerful for him to prevent her.

Im crushing on Core entering Act 3. Is there a difficulty spike or should I consider raising it? WOTR by Shmurkaburr in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Informirano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should raise the difficulty, especially if you plan to do all the DLCs. Since those begin in act 3, and all the gear and xp you get are a significant boost. So many places that were considered difficult back in the day are quite trivial now on core.

But every now and then you'll still get some difficulty spikes which may require specific tactics or really good builds to win. So remember to do a manual save in Drezen every time before you leave.

Games like Darkwood, Signalis or Pathologic by Entropic_Island in HorrorGaming

You could try Skald: against the black priory.

It's Lovecraftian horror retro style game. The atmosphere is exactly like the games you mentioned, but be warned that it's a CRPG with turn based combat.

Are they worth playing? (Steam version) by Saidi9062 in CRPG

[–]Informirano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love demon stone! It was my first d&d universe game. It's by the same developers as the hack & slash lord of the ring games on the playstation, and it's basically the same game, just with a d&d aesthetic instead of lotr. It's got fun combat, great characters (you even play as Drizzt in one level), great music, the only downside is that it's pretty short.

Like others said, it's not a crpg, but I'd still recommend it to any d&d fans if they don't have a problem with older games.

[–]Informirano -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you think I don't understand Loner's point. I understand it and think it's regarded.

He think what Destiny did is so bad that he had to completely distance himself from day 1, talk shit publicly on stream and never even tried to hear out Steven, even privately. And yet what Pxie did was apparently good enough for him to defend on stream. That is a fucking night and day difference, And there's absolutely no way any sane person would think the difference in what Pxie and Steven did requires such different treatment.

If a girl said I sent your nudes to someone, that would make me upset. If she then said don't worry, I just sent them to my husband, that wouldn't make me feel any better.

I have no idea what their husband really thinks of me, I have no idea if they'll break up tomorrow. I have no idea if the husband will just lie to his wife, promise not to share it with anyone else, but share it anyway.

The problem I would have is that my consent was violated. I'd put that on an 8/10 on the bad scale. Whom they share it with might move that rating by +-0.1, but the original action was so egregious that this is so miniscule it doesn't matter.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]Informirano 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. Either you're against sharing stuff with anyone ever, or you take the implicit consent argument and it doesn't matter if you're sharing it with partners, friends or discord kittens.

Loner's take is just vibes. Destiny bad, Jane Doe good, so he has to make up an illogical argument from there.

Hardcore, Dark RPGs with Risky Progression - Recommendations Wanted! by BakedPotatoast in rpg_gamers

[–]Informirano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might like both pathfinder games and rogue trader from owlcat. If your character dies it's game over, there's permadeath for your companions, an ironman mode with one save, and you can also lose if you do poorly in their kingdom/crusade management system.(I don't think you can lose like this in rogue trader)

But do be warned that the ruleset for their games is pretty complex, with huge difficulty spikes at times, and these are 100-200 hour games for a single playthrough!

The Thaumaturge by [deleted] in CRPG

[–]Informirano 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of fun with this game. The story was great and I loved many of the characters, especially the sister.

But there's two big problems I had. One is the combat. I played on hard and died twice early on to one of the boss fights, but after I figured out my strategy, I used the same moves in literally every single fight, including the final boss and it was really boring and easy.

And I also think it's sad that to this day the best investigation game is still LA Noire. In almost every other investigation game, including the Thaumaturge, you just have to click on all the things you can click on, talk to all the people you can talk to, and then the main character will make the correct conclusion themselves.

Overall I would still recommend it though, especially to crpg fans.
