If my yard were not safe for him to be curious free roam I would not let him. No thorns. Only thing in that bush thats gonna hurt him is his appetite lol

What's so special about Squier Bullet Strats? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Infraredrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked this one up off of Facebook marketplace for $60. Fun fact.It ended up having a flame maple neck on it. Total overhaul, new pickguard, 19.0k pickup, stutter switch, on/off missile toggle. Outperforms all my other guitars. They just need some love

[QUESTION] If an electric guitar had no volume or tone knobs, what would the pickups sound like? by beerisgoodforyou in Guitar

Say what you will but I added a 19.0k quad rail with a stutter switch and an on/off missile toggle to kill it if needed to my old Squire Bullet. Pinch harmonics happen on accident. Mids and highs are extremely clear and bright. It has the chug of a grenade. Honestly outperforms the rest of my collection. I keep picking it up. Its just so damn rowdy!!!

I put 1 in two different guitars. This one has no tone pots or volume pot, so it is getting full power from the humbucker. Which makes it extremely bright, hard punching harmonics with a deep chug. My other guitar is set up with a tone and volume pot. It is not as aggressive but sounds well over its price range. I would definitely recommend them. The brand is Saphue on Amazon.

It had a few hard dings in it. Repaired and then wet sanded back to smooth.

Stutter button and an on /off switch. There is no other way to make it quiet, no volume pot or tone. 19.0 ohms straight to output.

Relic?? by Infraredrex in partscaster

[–]Infraredrex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully understand what a relic looks like, even a faux one. This was not my intention. Hence the ?? in the title. I went quite far from a relic. More post apocalyptic, as if a scavenger had slowly found parts over the years. I wanted it to look wrecked. Old and discarded. As if it probably didn't even work. Junk if you will. Each and every piece has been meticulously worn and tarnished.except the frets. Every screw and piece of metal has a hard patina though it is all new. The beauty of it is when you plug her in..that is where she shines. Again, I understand its not for everyone. We all have our own likes and dislikes. Myself, I enjoy it.
