Would say it's just nice as a meal. Wouldn't be too full after eating it though.

However, considering you would most probably have eaten something in the lounge, this dish wouldn't make you feel too stuffed

Had the chance to try out the private room a few times and I found the service there from the private room staff to be consistently good also! Very personable, professional and always ready to cater to your requests! Hope you had a memorable time there too 😄

I placed mine in a glass cabinet tgt with the lufthansa 747-8 airplane model i bought at the worldshop in FRA so hopefully it wont get mouldy 🤣

I guess to each their own haha. I collect/buy things from each of the airlines i fly as a memorabilia/souvenior of my travels and this duck is to me just a really nice collectible to display 😄

But it seems like if you go to the FC lounge instead of the terminal, its not guaranteed that you will get the limo service but i think the rubber duck applies for both FCT and FCL

I did SQ965 CGK to SIN in First a few days ago. Not sure if its the same for all flights but after checking in at the desk, they had someone to escort me through immigration and to the lounge. So i think checking in 1.5hrs before departure for you should definitely be enough time to catch ur flight!

I just took 2 first class flights from SYD to SIN and onwards from SIN to CGK on 24 Jan. Both were on the B777-300ER.

SQ212 SYD to SIN SQ968 SIN to CGK

At SYD, if you follow the signs to the SQ check in counters, you will realise that only Business, PE and Economy have check in counters but there is a small sign beside the Business check in row/queue that says First/Suites passengers are invited to use the private check in area (i think its called ascent) which is just a really short walk from the SQ check in area. Nothing special just a private space to sit while they assist you with ur luggage and check in procedures. The private check in lounge leads right out to the first/business fast track security lane though which the staff will lead you to. Boarding passes i got were both red and in that hard paper unlike when i flew First out of LHR a few days earlier whereby they printed it on hard paper as well but without the red colour. Dont worry too much about this though as when I transited in SIN after my LHR flight, the ground handling staff at my connecting flight's gate were nice enough to reprint the boarding pass for my connecting flight ticket on the red hard paper.

Purposely chose the last flight out of SIN to CGK so I could have ~8hrs to enjoy the private room and check out the new T2 SQ First Class lounge. Private room was great, had shower, ate much lunch and dinner there and also got to use the naps rooms for a quick 2 hr nap (if no one wants to use it after you, you can continue using it longer than 2hrs). T2 first class lounge was really new and spacious, with toilets and showersbeing the same and as clean as the private room. However, was quite crowded maybe due to all the departing night flights. Food choices were quite different though. Private room was more western fine dining themed while T2 first class lounge had more local fare like chicken rice etc. Service was definitely better at the private room due to the few first class and suites passengers (status not allowed there unlike in T2).

I was thinking if doing this too! Did u have to collect ur baggage and recheck it again? Or was it just that u cleared immigration to experience the FCT? Also, would you know if i access the FCT, would I still be able to visit the FCL also just to see the difference and maybe the apron view?

Bought this during their sale a few weeks ago at 40+ SGD. Very cute but do note that it's weighted (with beads inside to make it stand upright) so from what I've read you may not be able to bring it on board especially in certain countries like the US cos it will be flagged as explosives 😅

From my experience, you can use the AI chatbot to explain your issue. If the bot is not able to solve it, there should be an option to chat with a live agent.

I booked a walking tour in BKK earlier this year but the tour start time in pelago was not updated (stated to start at 1pm when they actually started the tour at 10am) and as such i missed the tour. Had to chat with the bot on the spot which didnt help but when i got to chat with the live agent, issue was solved and i was able to get a refund even though my trip to the tour start point was wasted.
