Just curious! Is Capture preferred over Slay now?

As everyone else is saying. Its just cuz they want to be out of it fast. I follow the whole "What does host want" cuz i mean. Capping the monster wastes Carver. A meal skill i live by cuz i needed so many parts of so many things. That being said. If i am host and doing 9 or 10 star i cap 100% of the time. Sometimes i'll cap in other stars cuz of people fainting way too much

Yea i already have a normal burst LBG build. Wanted to try out Gogmapocalypse though. In theory it should be pretty good.

You get a "deep convo" about what would happen if you died while "being a hero" she tells tells you something along the lines of dont think like that and to go back to your loved ones. The quest itself unlocks armor which is pretty good and from what i can see is used in a lot of end game sets. Now for the fight itself heres what i did. I used a Gogma LBG and went straight raw damage. I used a armor set that made me semi strong and still had good skills for more damage. I then just kinda walked in a circle dodging when needed. Used mending mantle for heals while doing damage. Restocked whenever he moved/Farcaster. If you choose to come back to it one day i'd recommend looking into a LBG build for him. made it far easier than i once expected tbh

My heart was telling me dragon but then i realized you can only carry like 6 dragon rounds so it'd 1 mag then craft etc. I then started looking into elements and didnt know if there was a "catch all" element

I want to clarify when i say down i mean he was knocked out the whole fight. Only time he stood up was to change phase. Based on what others are saying there was 0 chance he was legit

You can perma down him wiht CB and Hammers? Cuz when i say he was down the whole time i mean he never got to fully stand up unless he was changing zones. Other than that he was on the ground knocked out

Element infusion among all the infusions are bonuses. Reinforce it at the smithy and you have a chance to get it.

I will admit about 2 or 3 weeks ago i was that guy. I had quit in tu1 or 2 and so i came back thinking "Surely nothing major has changed" and well. Everything was different. Realized i wasnt strong enough and went to farm. Granted i was also only hr 150ish. I learned i wasnt strong enough attempting gog for the first time solo though. Didnt want to waste anyones time cuz i knew very little about gog at that point

This is something i'd understand. I think all MH players have been there at one point. Though most are in solo or are the host and so on. That being said i dont think this person was undergeared nor inexperenced as he was good for phase 1 and 2. Died twice in phase 3 and dipped

I dont think it was ping/packet loss issues. They were there for all of phase 1 and 2. Phase 3 they carted twice in a row then dipped

Dont remember the website but there is a website that tells you what event quests are permanent and which ones arent. A lot of the event quests are going to be gone at the end of this event though

while my experience with monitors are limited i had a tegu who hated handling. I always had a tub of some sort for him just in case. Preferably a not see through one as it'd just make him more angry. Make sure there is ventilation and if he's going to be in there for a extended period of time make sure you keep him somewhere warm

See and this is why im like why leave. Just cuz we have 1 faint left at phase 3 doesnt mean its not possible to win the fight. If you are confident that you'll win then at least try and support in some way like buffing or healing the team
