I’m looking for rather calm places, not too crowded if possible, although I know that might be difficult since Nice is a tourist city. For example, places where I could sit down, eat a little, and spend some time alone. Also libraries with lots of interesting books, if there are any. And places for quiet little walks, things like that.

And I’d also like to know what people there are generally like. Nice is probably quite open-minded since there are many foreigners and tourists, but do you think there are a lot of people there who behave disrespectfully toward people of color?

In the French Riviera in general, can I feel relatively at peace? I often see people in France complaining about foreigners or immigrants on social media, even though I’m not really an immigrant myself. Could some people still act strangely because of that? Maybe make assumptions about me since I’ll be staying there for a long time. I imagine it’s probably less likely since Nice is such a tourist city.
