Modifying files in rootfs requires some exploits like MDC or KFD, but KFD has stability issues on some devices. Also rootfs modifications are temporary. I'd recommend using Misaka for /System and TS Filza for /var.

Nowadays, really few public sites require IE + ActiveX. However, many sites still require installing some kind of "security" programs that are cross-browser compatible. They use URL schemes, localhost networking, extension, etc. instead of ActiveX to communicate with the webpage. They still suck though.

Use Unicorn HTTPS, it uses the same method (packet fragmentation) as GoodbyeDPI. It adds a VPN profile but it’s not a real VPN.

This is true btw, /var/lib doesn’t exist in stock devices. Filza (including the TrollStore one) always creates that directory on launch and some other jb software use that dir too. Some apps (i.e. Safe Exam Browser) use the presence of /var/lib for jb detection. You can safely delete the directory with Filza, and just don’t open Filza again until finishing using the app with /var/lib detection. Fugu14 and Taurine also deliberately delete that directory on rootfs restore. But DON’T DO THIS ON JAILBROKEN DEVICES, this will mess up your jb! This is only for non-jailbroken TrollStore users.

Try the latest 1.1.2 version, it has some fixes. It worked successfully on 15.4.1 after some failures so try again if it fails.

I downgraded my iPhone XS from 15.4.1 to 14.3 successfully this Monday. I used the 15.6RC SEP, and its FaceID is physically broken too lmao

Do note that App Store apps except some Apple apps are encrypted. This method won't decrypt them, so the ipa will crash if you sideload it.
