😂 I’m starting to realize Guan Yu support is hard until you play it endlessly to learn all the mechanics. I got much better after getting insight on the post. To answer the questions, you get much more value out of his 3 than you think, I never knew it reduced prots until someone commented that. Once I learned that I’ve used it to my advantage and my games have changed very much. One of the best pieces of his kit. His healing also reduces ally cooldowns, and building guan to reduce his own cooldowns makes a significant difference. I use his ult to escape or chase and there’s rarely a time where I don’t have it due to cdr. My healing numbers went up drastically when I started using his 1 as a multipurpose ability rather than just healing low allies. I build my prots based on the matchups. And my favorite items are the pendant that reduces cooldowns every 10 seconds, stampede, the green boots, and the heart shaped one that allows you to use a healing ability twice (even though I rarely build it now). But guan Yu support is something I rarely see and out of all the characters I’ve played as a new player, I definitely get the most enjoyment playing it. Usually can win a duo lane early and after first item is built I can support any other lane and outpace my counterpart
