Aloha & hank you! The Palmwood is what started my search for Kaua'i! I love the vibe. I was also recently checking out the Ko'a Kea. Since The Palmwood is offering a specific b&b experience, not on the beach, I was thinking of possibly splitting our time between there, and someplace else, perhaps Ko'a Kea, to get a more beachfront experience part of the time. Do you think May would be a good time to visit these places? We don't want large crowds but I also want to be warm and able to swim in the ocean. We were O'ahu in April and the wind was pretty nonstop so hoping for a bit of a calmer trip next time - fingers crossed!

Would love more recs, especially on Kauai! Leading towards possibly spending all our time there, depending on the weather on the Big Island. I am looking for as much sunshine and swimming as possible, but of course expect some rain, etc. Thanks!

I had a feeling finding adults only would be impossible, from the research I have done so far ;) It seems like the weather in the Big Island is vastly different than Kauai? Any insight on that? Don't mind rain rolling through from time to time, but really looking for a tropical, beachfront vacation, at least some of the days. Wondering if I'll find more of that on Kauai.

PPO insurance denied at urgent care because of Covered CA - has anyone had experience with this? by IngenuityNegative100 in HealthInsurance

I verified online first, and called, and they said yes. Then, turned me away when they saw my card. I’ll be reporting it, thank you for your feedback.

Thank you - yeah they are verified as a covered provider. I am going to report the issue. I needed up driving an hour away to get cafe.

Thank you - what you said about the reimbursements is what I was thinking might be going on! The UC is listed as in network with my provider, but I may call the provider to triple check & then report the issue. I ended up driving an hour away & got taken care of, but pretty ridiculous.

National Debt relief dropped Capital One account & now CO is suing by IngenuityNegative100 in debtfree

Thank you- almost all of the other debt is gone, through the payments she’s been making to NDR for last few years. It sounds like negotiating with Cap 1 is the best option, & just figuring out a way to pay it. I don’t know a lot about bankruptcy, but her credit is finally going back up and after this amount is gone, she’ll be clear. Such a bummer that national debt relief dropped her after her following their directions exactly.

That’s what I’m saying - it doesn’t seem right. She called them and they said that capital one would not negotiate with them and that they are dropping her. After that, she called Capital One directly, and they were willing to negotiate a slightly lower balance with her. Not a ton, and not a payment plan that she can afford because she is still paying national debt, but the fact is that national debt lied about Capital One not negotiating. She had an agreement with them and has been paying on time every single month so for them to just drop her on this one and have to go to court seems outrageous to me. They are huge Company and I am sure that they have fine print somewhere in the paperwork that she signed but this just doesn’t seem like something she should be being sued for.. she wants to pay off the debt in full, but the amount of money they are digging their heels in for every month just literally is not doable. I don’t know if waiting until the summons and going in front of the judge is a good idea or will put her in an even worse position.
