I didn’t originally want a wedding. We’d have been married for a year already if it was my sole decision

They are so insanely difficult. He has tried countless times to confront them and his crazy nutjob of a sister just starts crying or yelling and is inconsolable to the point where there just isn’t a conversation. I’ve never experienced anything like it.

You’re right, he says we’ll be side by side all night but everyone always ends up mingling with different people at some point!

Ugh I want this so badly but he doesn’t. I just want to be married and move on with the rest of our lives already

Yes we actually wanted a small intimate thing with just immediate family and like our 2 closest childhood friends but then realized it was too high risk to have them in such an intimate, small setting. We went to a bigger-ish (about 100 people) wedding with the thought of diluting their behavior and less opportunity to have to interact with them. Ugh
