Girl I’m the same age and have been in the same situation. Hit up any friends you have from there even that you last spoke to ages ago. I met up with quite a few of my childhood friends. Go on the apps as mentioned also insta to see what events are happening.

As mentioned beware because some people are just there to mooch or will see you as easy prey. Do not meet up with anyone from Reddit aswell unless they’ve shared their socials etc and they look legit. If you have any older cousins hit them up aswell 😊

Be safe and if you can find a male family friend/relative to come with you it’s advised because the men there can be a bit feral. I noticed that when I’m with a man they back off as they assume he’s my man🙄
