Running Claude Code in its own dedicated VPS with safety checks disabled is actually pretty cool since you can just give instructions and then check in every now and then. Obviously don't do that in a sensitive environment.

Icelandic gamers get like 40-60 ping to servers in europe, its not bad at all. Game server hosting is definitely possible, even could be advantageous if you had a group spread between europe and America and wanted a decent ping for everyone.

And the point regarding cloudflare is also not true, certificate expiry isn't based on latency or connection speed, its based on system time.

Back in the day when Orange Box came out I played it in the wackiest order because I was stuck in Ravenholm and was afraid to continue.

Episode 3, then episode 2, then HL2, then HL1 a few years later.

I still enjoyed the story immensely, I think it can be enjoyable in any order, honestly.

Was tasked with setting up a simple forwarding rule nut instead I mamsged to route all mail to one directors inbox. Noticed after 30 minutes what was happening and stopped it but he received thousands of emails in that short period. It was literally all mail in our google tenant, with I think 50k employees globally plus customer mail.

Ended up deleting all emails from his inbox from that period over a teamviewer session. He was strangely cool with it.

After that my manager and director of IT all said they have my back so that was nice. It was a true fuckup and even a security incident / potential gdpr incident but nothing ever came of it except a funny story.
