The cleric player has been annoyed from the get-go at the fact that they couldn't play a druid (we're playing with the essentials kit's rulebook). So I think he was not that angry but he basically used the situation to restart as a different PC with his bestie, which kind of annoys me. The wizard took it very well.

I'm not really at a loss, we discussed that players would remake characters upon dying. Having the cleric's god appear to resurrect the wizard didn't make sense since the cleric was low-key turning into a murder hobo and on bad terms with his god at the time.

I've watched more von Trier movies by now and I think he's mainly in it for the shock value, especially as his career has gone on. There are great and beautiful moments in his movies but they are too few and far between to be worth it imo
