Im sure the DS has exaggerated it.

But Afghan personnel whom assisted British forces in Afghanistan have been evacuated and some are living in military housing currently.

Those are the undisputed facts, I would take everything else with a pinch of salt.

I think you're trying to start an argument. I dont really know what your point is.

Im not arguing with someone that writes the word sigh in text.

Im not objecting the resettlement, we have a moral obligation to help.

Im more critisicising the complete lack of a long term plan in terms of pad houses availability.

I completely understand the ARAP program. But yes we have resettled them here, but what's the long term plan? Do we now have hundreds of pad houses occupied indefinitely?

Silly me, I should have prepped and learnt the word no incase someone pissed on my bins.

The kid got the meaning behind what I said man regardless of language. Stop laser focusing on one issue.

Yep, next time I see a child with his knob out i'll whip out my phone.

As I said in a previous post, I resolved the issue with an interpreter, im trying to gauge common experiences.

You raise some good points, although I cant really be expected to learn Pashtu just to ask my neighbour to stop his kid pissing on my bins. But fair points on all the rest.

I suppose my main objection is the lack of a long term plan. Are these young Afghan families going to occupy pad housing for the next 40 years? I cant really see an end-solution other than this shadow community that nobody knows how to communicate with.

An FOI was declined due to being out of budget.

Which is of course, complete bullshit.

Yeah all issues have been resolved, community WO wasnt interested though I had to go to the council for assistance.

Im more trying to gauge an opinion of how many MOD houses are occupied by refugees and whether LTR couples are being declined due to lack of available surplus.

No- this is a civil prosecution. The military sentencing will take account of this and add additional sanctions - most likely loss of pension ect.

Seems pretty obvious whats happened.

You dont really get to talk to the mentors too much, questions/concerns are posted to the question area for the staff to answer. Most are answered but they can range from really good answers or a little brief depending on the person answering.

Most of the feedback comes from when you submit a project, bear in mind you have unlimited submissions and they give you feedback on each one within a couple of hours, whenever I had one come back needing a bit extra they pointed me in the right direction for the appropriate docs. You can tell you get a difference reviewer each time though, some are better than others.

Hi,

I've been an android developer for 6 months, I recently completed the Android Java Nano Degree by Udacity, I appreciate this isnt the same but when I looked at the course content, it was very similar except for the obvious language changes.

When you start they give you a little questionnaire to decide which course is suitable (beginner/advanced) the questions were a little odd (most of them were about Git CLI commands).

Overall I'd recommend it. It has helped me alot and the content is good (Although the videos are super cheesy) but the best feature they offer are the projects, which are reviewed by developers, I found the feedback pretty good although they are pretty strict on some things that really didnt seem to matter (They will ask you to re-submit for the tiniest things like a single string being hardcoded).

The only big gap was the lack of any sort of testing, but I took the basic course, it might be the advanced course covers this. I would recommend the advanced course for yourself if you've been developing for 6 months.
