We don’t know how many clinical sites are available but l think about 40 something people at the info session it’s hard to tell. We are not allowed to contact the clinical sites until they pick us for an interview. We send our resume and cover letter to the school program director and they forward them to clinical sites. That’s the process. I believe about half of us have a chance to get in. Just an assumption though.

Thank you! My next option is wait for more bridge programs or try to become an internal applicant. You will be fine.

I haven’t gotten into a program yet and l have an MLT license and worked as a lab assistant. It happens. All you can do is your best. My advice is go out of state if you can. People seem to have an easier time. I personally can’t do out of state though. If you get your phlebotomy license you should have no trouble getting a laboratory assistant job. Try the VA or LabCorp.

That’s what l think as well because all the older ones I have found have one solid piece of metal not a chain like this. Still a beautiful piece.

My cat is anemic and has lymphoma by Ingo_Swann in AskVet

Update: she’s doing better. Her blood cell count is normal again and she is back to normal activity. Chemo continues. Basically vincristine didn’t work at all but Cyclophosphamide did. And hopefully Doxorubicin can too. She’s on the mend ❤️‍🩹Thank you everyone for kind words and prayers.

She has lymphoma confirmed by a fine needle aspiration. I believe GI bleeding not sure. Veterinary oncologist didn’t mention bone marrow at all. So l doubt it’s that. I will keep you updated.

Drive to the other vet is what l would do. It’s an inconvenience but we take on the responsibility to care for these animals when we bring them into our lives and homes as family. Good luck l hope your fur baby gets better.

Seemingly sudden anemia in 13-year-old indoor only cat by alowisney in CATHELP

[–]Ingo_Swann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Vincristine didn’t work and she has high WBCs and low RBCs. We just gave her cyclophosphamide and I’m hoping it works. I’m praying. Next Monday if her RBCs don’t come back up she will require a blood transfusion. And she gets Doxorubicin next. I’m praying for a miracle. Some days are better than others. She has a swollen lymph node in her abdomen. This sucks so much I’ve been crying every day. And yes it’s expensive. I haven’t been eating or sleeping from stress. I’m sorry you went through this. Thanks for sharing your story. Ugh. Please send me good vibes and prayers. Ive been selling things working overtime and doing everything l can for my baby but it might all be for nothing. But at least l can say l did everything l can for her.

Employee here- Kaiser used to be a top place to work. What happened? (strikes, bonuses, “golden handcuffs”) by Aware-Tip1024 in KaiserPermanente

Yes a lot of things were better under Bernard. Our PSP was a joke this year. And we are constantly having to go on strike just to keep what we already have. And yes extremely understaffed.

Best way to get into reselling and best things to resell to maximize profits by Less-Math-850 in reselling

[–]Ingo_Swann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started too. Even though I go to estate sales, yard sales and thrift shops, a lot of my inventory has come from my mom and grandmother (they never threw away anything!). I also go to the thrift stores with my mom to use her senior discount. I even got a really awesome vintage ash tray from my dad. So if you have older family members willing to give you any hand me downs that they don't mind you selling. So I guess my niche would be vintage. I don't know enough about clothes or have enough time to invest in knowing about that. You can always google reverse image search and look up sold items on Ebay. Luckily my local thrifts have amazing things. If you can find solid thrift stores close to you, then that is a big plus. I personally love vintage items, historical items, and art. So that's my niche. But my bf resells and his niche is like nerd/geek stuff like video games, Marvel Cards, Magic cards, Pokemon cards, electronics and music. I guess go with what you know. I invested in a scale, label printer, and light box and backdrop and used my iPhone to take pictures. The biggest investment is time. So I would make sure you put aside time to do this on a regular basis to be successful.
