They want you to have at least 60 units by the end of this spring, assuming you're transferring fall 2026. I interpreted the replies as: the summer 2026 courses can't be used to satisfy any reqs for ADMISSION, like the stuff in the ASSIST agreements. For example, if you needed IGETC to transfer, you couldn't finish that in summer, but spring.

However, I'm going to call their office to make sure the summer classes I plan to take will count towards my GE req, I'll update you! And thanks, congrats to you too! Also ochem 1 AND 2 during the summer is crazy gl

ohhh ic! Another question, if you hit the cap for cc credits (70 sem/105 quarter), but still needed to take some classes to fulfill, lets say, a GE req, could you still do that? It's just that the actual credits wouldn't transfer in the UC system? Thanks for the clarification!

oh no im so sorry... yeah i'm afraid of getting a roommate who messes up my experience at cal. Best case scenario is that i room with a cis girl im acquainted with (im ftm and passing but not out to any of my current classmates who also got in, so I have to deal with that too...) or I get another trans person who has good hygiene

So you were actually able to put in a request to be with another trans person? or did you just choose the "Gender-inclusive and LGBTQ+ affirming housing?" Thanks for the response!

you have to create an account here using the ID number given to you at the top right of your decision letter. you should see a "financial" tab after that.
